Keryx Mail for Android

Support

For account setup, synchronization, permissions, or anything that does not behave as expected, email support@eightpointlabs.com.

Include these details

  • Your phone model and Android version
  • Your Keryx version, shown in Settings
  • The server software or provider and whether the account uses JMAP, IMAP, CalDAV, or CardDAV
  • The exact error message and what you were doing when it appeared

Protect private information

Never send your password or app-specific password. Redact message content, addresses, contact details, calendar information, and server logs that are not necessary to understand the problem.

Account and sync problems

Open the account in Keryx Settings and run its connection checks. Confirm that the server address and username match what your provider supplies. Some providers require an app-specific password instead of your normal account password.

Phone contacts or calendars are missing

The phone bridges are optional. Turn on the contacts or calendar bridge in Keryx Settings, then grant the matching Android permission. If a permission is later revoked, Keryx stops reading or writing that Android data until it is granted again.

Notifications or reminders are late

Confirm that Keryx notifications are allowed in Android Settings and that the account's sync mode is correct. Phone manufacturers may delay background work under battery-saving modes. Android 13 and newer may deliver ordinary reminders with a small amount of timing flexibility.

Remote images are missing

This is the privacy-preserving default. Use the message's image control if you trust the sender and want to load remote content. See the privacy policy before permanently trusting a domain.

Remove an account or all local data

See Remove your Keryx data. Removing local data does not delete mail, contacts, calendars, or tasks stored on your server.
